This is a memoir, a story that began during the writing of Guarded, the second novel in my fiction trilogy. It’s about facing loss, finding hope, and changing courses. This is a book I had to write, one that impacted me deeply, and one I feel will resonate with many of you. It’s set against the beauty of Tuscany, but you don’t have to travel to experience the restoration.
