Angela Correll lives in Kentucky with her husband Jess on a grass-fed cattle farm.
She is the award-winning author of Grounded, Guarded and Granted, a trilogy of novels that became Amazon bestsellers and have been adapted to the stage for sold-out audiences at the Pioneer Playhouse, Kentucky’s oldest outdoor theater. The novels each include settings in both Kentucky and Italy.
Angela and her husband are founders of Wilderness Road Hospitality, including The Stanford Inn at Wilderness Road, Bluebird, Esther’s Wellhouse, Mama DeVechio’s Pizzeria, Cerulean Catering, and Kentucky Soaps & Such, all located on Main Street in Kentucky’s second-oldest city, Stanford.
Angela has led the renovation and design of seven guest properties and an eight-room hotel along with numerous commercial spaces housing retail shops, restaurants, meeting spaces, office spaces, a spa, and a catering room. Almost all are centered within the historic downtown area of Stanford, Kentucky. Angela and Jess have received several awards for their preservation and revitalization efforts. They share a passion for local food and keeping a small town economically viable.
She and Jess have an Italian-based company created to renovate historic properties for rentals, and they are regularly stumbling through Italian lessons.
